Murals

James and his associates have painted small accent murals to ceiling and full-wall murals, in homes and businesses. Some were painted directly on the walls, while others were done on canvas and then put on the walls. Each mural is custom designed to suit the desires of the client.

Flower mural for Dadonna's Italian Restaurant in Shaker Heights.

The Muses for the Twinsburg Public Library "Teen Crossings" Space.

The Five Muses are depicted of different nationalities, with implements of their respective artistic arenas.

These were painted with John Rivera-Resto, on canvas, then affixed to the library walls.

John's website is muralmaster.org.

All Five Muses -- Indian/Middle Eastern (astronomy, science), Celtic/European (history), Japanese/Asian (writing, poetry), Native American (drama, comedy/tragedy), and
African (music, dance).
The project also included 10 icons representing the Sciences and Arts -- "The Spirit of Human Endeavor." Photos coming soon.
A brochure describing the entire project and concepts is here.

This mural is in Pickwick & Frolic Restaurant in Cleveland. James and Ruth created this collage of Cleveland landmarks from around the turn of the century, in keeping with the owner's overall Charles Dickens theme.

James also painted a mural of old-style playing cards revealing an Ace of Spades Blackjack, for a gentleman's game room. Unfortunately, we never took a picture of it.
